Ariccia Trattoria offers dinner service seven days a week from 5:30-10 p.m. The restaurant caters to the Hotel at Auburn University and Dixon Conference Center guests and local community. It is casual enough not to be branded as a “Special Occasion” restaurant, but sophisticated enough to be known for providing a consistent and memorable dining experience. Diners can enjoy inside or dine al fresco during the spring, summer and fall seasons. Guests dining on the patio will feel like they are dining in a “secret garden” with hedges surrounding the space, fountain and the pergola overhead.
The Italian-and-Mediterranean-inspired menu rotates with the season to ensure the freshest products.
Ariccia Herb Garden: Located adjacent to the pool is a bountiful herb garden providing A·T with the freshest herbs every day. The herb garden is a collaborative project of The Hotel at Auburn University, the College of Ag, and Cynthia Channell-Butcher, an academic program administrator in the college's horticulture and the plant research department. Parsley, sage, rosemary, thyme, basil, mint, oregano, chives and a bit of lavender are among the cornucopia of aromatic herbs that flourish against a backdrop of muscadine and scuppernong vines in the garden, which is filled with the soothing sounds of a flowing fountain.
