The Iron Bowl is a much-anticipated tradition for every Auburn and Alabama fan. It is one of the biggest games of the SEC every year. There is a lot on the line… your pride, office bragging rights, and this year’s winner will affect who goes to the SEC Championship game. No pressure fellas.

Whether you come to every game or if this is your first time at Jordan-Hare Stadium – we want you to be prepared.

Are you planning to travel to Auburn on Friday, November 24? There will be plenty of fans already here and plenty to do!

Join Active Auburn on Friday, November 24, for the Blue Friday Blitz! At 8 a.m. participants will convene at Toomer's Corner to work off their Thanksgiving Day calories and kick off Iron Bowl Weekend! The Blue Friday Blitz is a 1.5-mile route that begins and ends at Toomer's Corner via Tichenor Avenue, Gay Street, Samford Avenue and N. College Street. It's free and all participants are encouraged to stick around for Blue Friday shopping!

Blue Friday in downtown Auburn - Grab the family to come shop, dine, and play in downtown Auburn for Blue Friday. Merchants will open as early as 8 a.m. with sales and specials all day.

Come Home to the Corner is Friday night. Come downtown to enjoy live music, shopping, and dining! Each Come Home to the Corner Friday Night event is a designated Entertainment District Event from 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. Downtown streets will remain open for all Come Home to the Corner events. 

The 2017 Iron Bowl will take place on Saturday, November 25, at 2:30 p.m. CST.

  • ESPN GameDay will broadcast from campus this weekend.
  • Auburn Arena will broadcast the game (free and open to the public, no outside food/drink).
  • Home Plate Tailgate will broadcast the game ($5 admission, no outside food/drink).
  • Any new RVs arriving for the Alabama game may park on Wednesday at 2 p.m. No taping or flagging of spots may occur prior to that time.
  • Campus will open for tailgating on Friday at 6 a.m. No taping or flagging of spots may occur prior to that time.
  • Tiger Walk always begins two hours prior to kick-off.
  • Jordan-Hare Stadium gates open two hours prior to kick-off.
  • Pre-Game festivities begin on field 20 minutes prior to kick-off.


Don't forget to celebrate the weekend with Sunday brunch at one of the many local eateries: Acre, The Hound, Arricia Trattoria, The Depot and Café 123 all offer an appetizing brunch menu!
