Auburn Youth Program’s Camp C.H.E.W. (Cooking Healthy, Eating Well), will teach you how to cook and eat healthy! Conducted by faculty, staff, and students from the College of Human Sciences, Campers will have the opportunity to learn about careers in nutrition, participate in physical assessments, understand the impact of food on blood sugar, participate in meal and menu planning, work closely with nutrition faculty, and tour campus and industry facilities. Students who study nutrition choose careers such as dietitian, medical doctor, wellness educator/director, professor, research scientist, community dietitian, and sports dietitian.
