The Mayor’s Ball has recently become the largest source of fundraising for BGC. Last year, this even raised nearly $100,000. This is an annual event and will be taking place for the 12th straight year next spring. For corporate and table sponsorships contact Tom Livers, Development Director: firstname.lastname@example.org or call 334-502-1311.
On Thursday, March 30th, 2017, we, as the Mayors of Auburn and Opelika will host the 12th Annual Mayors Ball to assist in an effort to raise funds that contribute to the daily operating expenses of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Lee County. This organization focuses on inspiring and enabling all young people, especially those who need us the most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens of our communities.
As the Mayors of Auburn and Opelika, we believe the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Lee County has helped strengthen the community by providing a safe, positive, constructive place for these young future leaders, and we ask for your support to help sponsor the important work of this organization.
These youth rely on the Clubs and the staff to guide them through their adolescence and provide the structure for successful adult lives. Though they face many obstacles, the Club continues to be a constant positive in their lives.
The Mayors Ball will take place on Thursday, March 30th at 5:30 p.m. at the Event Center Downtown (former Coca Cola Bottling Plant) in Opelika. This benchmark event is an opportunity for the members of our community to come together and support the children in our community who need us most.
We ask for your support to help sponsor the important work of the organization. All donations are tax deductible and various levels of support are available. Contact the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Lee County office with any questions at 334-502-1311.
