Auburn Athletics and Auburn University will host a number of events beginning Friday, Sept. 1 and over the gameday weekend to help provide a variety of experiences for all fans coming to campus for the Auburn Football season opener on Saturday, Sept. 2 vs. Georgia Southern.

WEEKEND EVENTS:

  • Friday Football Luncheons: Kick off home game weekends at the Friday Football Luncheons. Enjoy lunch with Auburn fans and preview the game with Coach Malzahn or other members of the coaching staff. Tickets for the non-conference luncheons are still available on AUBTIX.com.
  • Wellness Kitchen Sunday Brunch: Every Sunday following a home football game the Auburn University Wellness Kitchen will be open to the public for brunch. Sunday brunch includes a waffle bar, omelet stations, and other great selections of your favorite dishes prepared by our executive staff and his team. Brunch will be served from 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. The all-you-care-to-eat brunch is $14.99 for adults and $6.99 for children 10 and under. The Wellness Kitchen is located at 370 S. Donahue Drive on the Auburn University campus.
  • This is Auburn Speaker Series takes place each Friday prior to home football games. Click HERE for more information. The first speaker event, held in conjunction with the Critical Conversations Speaker Series, will feature Cornel West, Professor of the Practice of Public Philosophy at the Harvard Divinity School and Robert P. George, McCormick Professor of Jurisprudence at Princeton University. The pair will discuss Ideological Differences and Free Speech on Campus. The lecture will begin at 4 p.m. in the Student Center Ballroom (all others will begin at 3 p.m., check website for location).
  • Campus Walking Tours: Join the War Eagle Girls and Plainsmen on Friday afternoons before home games beginning at 4 p.m. from the Auburn Alumni Center for a special tour of campus. Free and open to the public. Campus walking tours available prior to each home game.
  • Football, Fans and Feathers: Join us on gameday Fridays for Football, Fans and Feathers at the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine's Southeastern Raptor Center. Tickets are $5 per person and include a raptor show, flight demonstration, and educational program. The event is held on Fridays before each home football game, at 4 p.m. on the Southeastern Raptor Center campus.
  • BBVA Compass Locker Room Tours: Come experience the pre-game locker room setup for the Auburn football team at Jordan Hare-Stadium on Fridays prior to each home game from 4-6 p.m. Free and open to the public. Please enter at Gate 10 through the Jane and Mike McCartney Brick Plaza.
  • Plainsman Park Tour: For the season opener vs. Georgia Southern, Auburn Athletics will open the Plainsman Park for fan tours. Fans will be able to tour the team clubhouse, locker room and dugout. Tours are free and begin at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Fans should meet at the Plainsman Park main entrance.
  • Come Home to the Corner: The City of Auburn and the Downtown Merchants Association invite the Auburn Family to Come Home to the Corner on Friday, September 1.  Fans are invited to come downtown to enjoy live music, shopping and dining! Each Come Home to the Corner Friday Night event is a designated Entertainment District Event from 4 PM - 10 PM. Downtown streets will remain open for all Come Home to the Corner events. In case of inclement weather, check the City of Auburn or Auburn Downtown Merchants on Facebook for status updates on live entertainment.

 

CONCESSIONS CHANGES: In an effort to improve concessions services on gamedays, Auburn Athletics has opened 61 new points of sale at Jordan-Hare Stadium this season. The stadium will host 18 different vendors, in addition to the traditional concessions selections. The core concessions stands will also implement a “snake” style line system to help return fans to their seats quickly as well as decrease congestion in the concourses. WEAR ORANGE: Fans are encouraged to wear orange for the season opener against Georgia Southern.

FIRST GAME CERTIFICATES: Fans attending Auburn football games for the first time may receive a first game certificate and button at the Auburn Tigers marketing booth located on the main concourse at section 44.  To reserve yours, click HERE.

MOBILE APP: Fans are encouraged to download the official Auburn Athletics mobile application for the most up-to-date information on gameday and all Auburn sports. The app offers fans the ability to listen to all radio broadcasts and the Tiger Talk weekly radio show Fans can sign up for notifications on their favorite sports, which include final score and breaking news alerts, as well as video highlights and photo galleries. .
