About the Opelika Sportsplex and Aquatics Center
The Opelika SportsPlex and Aquatic Center is more than just a gym. In fact, you might call it a “Life Enhancement Center.” You can enhance your health, fulfill your fitness goals, enlarge your life, and fraternize with fun folks from the community or in sociable special interest groups. Drop your kids off at the Tot Watch Program while you enjoy your recreational activities! Listed below are all the amenities the sportsplex includes.

Therapeutic Recreation: A Fine Arts Program, BraveHeart, offers art, music, and dance classes to youth (11-21 years of age) with moderate to severe disabilities. Each participant is guaranteed a “primary coach” who serves as a buddy to provide whatever degree of assistance is needed and they remain together throughout the session. During this time, participants learn dance, drumming, and create different types of art using a variety of mediums.
Tumble Tree Disc Golf Course: A 18-hole disc golf course that crosses bodies of water and includes inclines and hills. The course is free for anyone to play.
