    The Tourism Bureau is here to help make your event a success. We can assist you throughout the planning stages of your event, including soliciting venue proposals and helping you choose an appropriate location and guest accommodations. Our Sales Manager will help you coordinate site visits, develop itineraries, and secure outside vendors such as caterers, bands, DJs, and rental services.

  • PROPOSALS, PRESENTATIONS & BID ASSISTANCE

    Are you soliciting an event for the Auburn-Opelika area? Tourism Bureau professionals will help you develop proposals or presentations and travel with you if necessary to assist in responding to any inquiries your audience may have about the area and its offerings. From PowerPoint presentations to brochures, we can help you create and provide materials showcasing the Auburn-Opelika community.

  • DESIGN SERVICES & MEDIA EXPOSURE

    Many groups do not have the resources available for professional promotional or advertising materials. The Tourism Bureau can assist you by developing ads, brochures, mailings, and other printed materials for your event. We can also help promote your organization and event through local media outlets.

  • VENUE SELECTION

    The Tourism Bureau is happy to recommend venues for your event. Choose from a wide variety of venues in Auburn, Opelika, or at Auburn University. We will work with you to secure the most appropriate and accommodating locations for your events.

  • PRE-REGISTRATION & ON-SITE REGISTRATION

    Stay organized with online advance registration for your event. The Tourism Bureau can show you how to make your planning easier with a simple and effective web-based registration. Attendees can view itineraries, sign up for individual sessions, breakouts, or meals, and even make advance payment. We will also be glad to provide representatives to assist with your on-site registration during the event.

  • NAMETAGS, CONVENTION BAGS, & VISITOR INFORMATION

    Let us provide complimentary lanyard-style nametags for your attendees, designed according to your specifications. We can include your organization or event logo and other information as requested. We are also pleased to offer convention bags large and durable enough to hold all your promotional materials, pre-stuffed with Visitor Guides, maps, and other information at your request.

    The Tourism Bureau can connect you to dependable and affordable transportation providers for groups from 10 to 200.

    From full-day agendas to half-day spouse programs, the bureau staff can recommend and arrange an array of exciting activities. Groups can enjoy touring local museums, participating in a golf outing or tournament, local city and Auburn University tours. A complete list of group activities is available at your request.

  • OFFICIAL WELCOME

    Make your attendees welcome with a personal address by Auburn-Opelika mayors or local dignitaries. We can also secure welcome letters for your event program or advance mailings.
