With full access to the resources of Auburn University, the nation’s best golf, and a host of exciting attractions, restaurants, and retailers, we have a diverse array of activities available for you and your group or colleagues. From fullday agendas to half-day spouse programs, the Auburn-Opelika Tourism Bureau staff will help you create complete itineraries specific to your needs. Choose from some of the popular choices we’ve outlined below, or mix and match to make the perfect package for your individual needs.
I. Glory Days
  • Seasonal "Fantasy Camps" providing interaction and instruction with Auburn University coaches and players
  • Dine with AU athletes in Athletic Complex dining hall

  • Get up close & personal with Golden & Bald Eagles when you tour Auburn University's Southeastern Raptor Rehabilitation Center, one of the only facilities in the Southeast designed to treat injured birds of prey and educate the public on their conservation
  • Make your own discoveries as you follow a birding trail through our Forest Eco Preserve, a 110-acre habitat for southern birds of all species
  • Visit the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art to view the Southeast's largest collection of wildlife renderings by 19th century master James Audobon
  • Interactive fly fishing instruction, skeet shooting, quail or deer hunts at White Oak Plantation, a premiere outdoorsman's resort
  • Enjoy a group fish fry with product from AU Fisheries, one of the top warm water fisheries and aquaculture programs in the world

  • Hands-on instruction in getting the most of of your digital photography, using subject matter from your tours of the Auburn-Opelika Floral Trail, Corley's Cabin featuring over 600 species of camellias, azaleas, and rhododendron, and seasonal exhibits at the Jules Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art
