The Department of Theatre at Auburn University is dedicated to the education and professional training of theatre artists, scholars, and audiences within a liberal arts environment. Throughout an academic year, August-May, the Theatre hosts six productions in their two spaces, the Telfair Peet Theatre Mainstage and the Black Box Theatre. The mainstage seats 349 guests, while the newest addition in 2014, the black box, is a more intimate space with seating around 120-130.

This year, we are celebrating the hard work of the students in The Department of Theatre with our 2019-2020 season; "Bodies of Work." Productions in the 106th season will highlight the roles taken on and off the stage by those students who present audiences with awe-inspiring stories at the Telfair Peet Theatre.
