Summer Auburn Youth Programs organize and host over 100 summer camps each year. Camps are available for ages 4-18. They have several new and exciting camps to choose from this year. Registration is open now!

VEX IQ Challenge - Working in teams, students engage in building and programming activities related to the 2018 VEX IQ Challenge that will culminate in a friendly competition on the last day of the camp. The students will go head to head in programming challenges, driving and skill-based challenges, and teamwork challenges. Students will visit engineering robotics labs and also learn about robotics mechanisms and design strategies for competitive robotics.

Drone Camp - a week-long camp for rising 8th-10th grade students interested in learning about the world of quadcopters, drones, and UAVs. Participants will learn about the basics of flight, the anatomy of a drone, different uses of drones in research and industry, as well learn how to program and pilot their drone to fly through an obstacle course designed by the participants.
The focus of the camp is to introduce the world of drones through the lens of an engineer or scientist in a fun, engaging, and collaborative environment. Drone Camp is hosted by the Southeastern Center of Robotics Education, housed in the COSAM Outreach department, in collaboration with the Auburn Aviation Center, the Auburn Airport, the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, and Alabama 4-H.

Advanced Chef Tech Academy - developed by Chef Sidney Corum, Founder of Chef Ago Go and Greek Life Services, is being conducted along with Tiger Dining at Auburn University for students who are interested in cooking, the culinary arts, learning about health wellness, and becoming chefs. This camp is ideal for students with previous culinary experience and interest who are looking to advance their skills and abilities in the kitchen.

During camp, our highly trained staff of professional chefs will cover all the important areas and information needed to prepare campers for a career in the culinary arts. Campers will not only explore academic opportunities but participate in hands-on master classes in knife skills, food safety, culinary presentation, sauce preparation, grilling, braising and sautéing.http://www.auburn.edu/outreach/opce/auburnyouthprograms/advancedcheftech.htm

Adventure and Learning is out there! Join AYP this summer to experience it! All camp participants will experience campus-life while residing in Auburn's resident dormitories, eating at campus dining facilities, and enjoying evening social and recreational activities. Campers will have 24/7 counselor supervision.
