ACRE

Table for two! Enjoy Acre’s special Valentine's day menu that will run alongside their regular dinner menu on Tuesday, February 14. The first course features lobster bisque with roasted garlic agnolotti, duck fat croutons, and lemon basil oil. The entree is a Surf & Turf with filet mignon, Maine lobster, caramelized leeks, truffle whipped potatoes, and sauce mousseline. Don't forget to save room for dessert. There will be a Black Forest Gateau with Bavarian chocolate sponge, chantilly cream, old-fashioned soaked cherries, and chocolate shavings. Do you and your special someone already have dinner plans? The Auburn Candle Company is hosting “An Intimate Candle Pouring Experience.” The event features a private scent stylist, any two candles of your choice, chocolate-covered strawberries, and long-stem roses. Botanic is celebrating Valentine’s Day with a Galentine’s event at The Grille featuring entrepreneur Stacy Brown and artists Barbara Birdsong & Mary Ann Casey on Sunday, Feb. 13 from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. This event is a time to gather with your girlfriends and enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and good times! You and your closest girlfriends will have the opportunity to create a unique, timeless piece of jewelry guided by Barbara Birdsong.

Botanic is also featuring a special Valentine’s Day reservation-only date night at The Grille on Tuesday, Feb. 14 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Reservations include a multi course meal curated by executive chef, James Jolly, a flower arrangement, a champagne toast, live strolling music & gourmet chocolates! The Collegiate Hotel is presenting “BEE MINE Valentine’s Night,” which will be a honey & libation tasting event featuring the team from the Auburn University Bee Lab. Enjoy Valentine’s Day dinner at The Depot on Tuesday, Feb. 14 from 4 - 8 p.m. featuring a special four-course menu. The first course features Hawaiian Walu & Tombo Tuna Sushi, Wagyu Beef Tartare, or Warm Confit “Tree Tomato”, Basil & Feta Cheese Dip. The second course offers either Sherried Main Lobster Bisque or Grilled Quail & Mixed Green Salad. For the main course, guests have six delicious dishes to choose from including Pan Roasted New Zealand Ora King Salmon Oscar, Crispy Skin Australian Barramundi a la Plancha, Wood Fire Grilled Prime Linz Farm New York Strip, Australian Grain Finished Lamb Chops, Grilled Vegetable Stuffed Lasagna, and Puff Pastry Crusted Filet Wellington. For a sweet ending to the meal, The Depot is featuring Strawberry-Cheesecake-Filled Red Velvet Crepes, Sydney Bella Napoleon, and Torched Baked Alaska.

THE LAUREL HOTEL & SPA

The Laurel Hotel & Spa is featuring a Valentine’s Day package for guests including romantic overnight accommodations, a special Valentine’s Day dinner menu for two at 1856 - Culinary Residence, a sunset experience on the rooftop featuring an oyster display and a special sparkling cocktail, and brunch in The Library. Guests may add enhancements to the package including a bottle of champagne, a spa treatment, the signature 1856 – Culinary Residence Caviar for two presentation.

VINTAGE 2298

Do you have a busy Tuesday evening, but still want to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a special menu? Vintage 2298 has you covered and will feature their Valentine’s specials the entire week. They are working with their partners and purveyors to secure the finest meats, cheeses, fresh fish, and other premium, locally sourced ingredients to build out dinner and drink specials for the week. Vintage will open for dinner at 5 p.m. on Tuesday but the restaurant will stay open later than normal that entire week to accommodate more guests choosing to celebrate.
