Auburn University’s Office of Inclusion and Diversity will host a two-day, the Diversity Promising Practices Conference, on February 25-26, 2019, at The Hotel at Auburn University & Dixon Conference Center.

The Diversity Promising Practices Conference (DPPC) is a professional development opportunity designed to bring together a cadre of thought leaders, practitioners to discuss effective D&I strategies, foster learning and stimulate innovation. This year’s conference theme, Positioning Diversity and Inclusion for Global Impact: Increasing Cultural Intelligence; Modeling Inclusive Excellence; and Embracing a Global Mindset, aims to examine how modern organizations create high performing, goal-focused, inclusive cultures in complex and diverse global environments.  

The conference includes a keynote by Nzinga Shaw, Senior Vice President/Chief Diversity Officer for the Atlanta Hawks as well as a host of notable inclusion and diversity scholars and experts.  An early bird conference registration rate of $200 is available to those who register by January 31, 2019.
