Join the Auburn Touchdown Club for a dinner on Thursday, November 14 at the Auburn University Club beginning at 6 p.m.! The guest speakers will be Auburn Men's Golf Coach Nick Clinard, Auburn Women's Golf Coach Melissa Luellen and former Auburn Athletics Director David Housel.

Auburn Touchdown Club is a local nonprofit organization of Auburn fanatics. The mission is to raise scholarship money for Lee County high school students to attend Auburn University. Learn more here.

Nick Clinard has been head coach of the Auburn men’s golf team for the past ten years and has been in a head coaching role for 18 years in total. The veteran has been crucial for Auburn’s success and adds exceptional experience and knowledge to the program. Thanks to Clinard, Auburn is one of four teams in the nation who have made at least seven-straight NCAA Championship appearances.

Melissa Luellen just finished her fourth season as Auburn's head women's golf coach in 2018-19. Luellen is also a veteran in head coaching, spending 13 years as the head coach at Arizona State, leading the program to an NCAA title in 2009, and then two years prior to that as the head coach at the University of Tulsa. The 2018-19 season proved to be a breakthrough season for Auburn under Luellen. Not only did the team finish as a national semifinalist, they captured two tournament victories: the Battle at the Beach and the Shootout at Shoal Creek.

David Housel is a former Director of Athletics for the Auburn Tigers Athletics Department. Hounsel vowed to leave Auburn in a better way than he found it and he did exactly that. He worked in almost every area of the Auburn Athletic Department for 25 years prior to being named Director of Athletics in 1994. Hounsel also had a significant impact on coaches, student athletes, staff and Auburn men and women. He shared his passion, knowledge and dedication with all those he crossed paths with.

The deadline to register for the dinner is November 13 at 5 p.m. Register here.
