The City of Opelika is hosting a Dunk the Junk event as a litter awareness campaign. On Saturday, April 24 head to the Covington Center at 9 a.m. and get supplies to pick up littler around the City of Opelika. At 11:30 you can head back to Covington and participate in the Free throw and Slam dunk competition from 12-2. There will be 5 different age groups for the free throw competition and the slam dunk is open to 19+ only. There will be food and drink available as well.
