Do you have a child or know of one that loves horses and wants to know more about what it takes to care for them? Head to Auburn University Equestrian Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for this year’s Horse U Program! This program is designed to educate youth and adults about the U.S. Equine Industry.

For the youth program, participants will rotate to different hands-on stations with topics such as nutrition, learning about tack and equipment, and parts of the horse, for example. Adults have a separate program and will meet with veterinarians and other professionals for education on relevant industry topics. The youth registration fee of $20 will cover lunch, snacks, participant bags, and a t-shirt. The adult registration fee is $20 and will cover lunch and snacks. Adults may also purchase a t-shirt upon registration for $40.

Register online today! If you are registering more than 3 family members, please call OPCE at 334-844-5100 for the discounted rate. The discounted fee is $3.00 off each registration. Registration will be opened until October 20th at 4:45 p.m. Registration is limited to the first 100 participants. Register early, so you will not miss this opportunity.
