Grief is an overwhelming emotion that everyone experiences. Creating quilts and other arts in memory of loved ones is a way to work through grief and a way to bereave their loss. This lecture is free and open to the public. No registration is required. Zanice Bond is an Alabama Folklife Association Cauthen Fellow and is doing research on bereavement quilts. This work is inspired by her father’s recent death. OLLI at Auburn is a program of the Office of the Vice President for University Outreach.
