Date: February 24th, 2024
Time: 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM

In this session, you will learn the traditional method of how to make fire cider, an immune-boosting herbal tonic used for centuries to ward off illnesses, seasonal allergies, and connect us back to nature with the way we gather our ingredients. Students will talk about the history of fire cider, the benefits of each ingredient used, and how you can shape this tonic to fit your specific seasonal needs.

Host will provide all ingredients needed, a quart-sized jar, a cutting board and knife. Bring an apron, if you prefer.

Love + Land creates seasonal goods from locally grown, freshly foraged, soil-to-shelf ingredients to nourish our minds and bodies, connecting us back to our spirits. We prioritize being good stewards of the land: nourishing the soil, protecting all of the beneficial growth surrounding us, and connecting with all the earth has to offer.
