Time: 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM

The sights, sounds and tastes of Germany are making their way to Auburn University’s Ag Heritage Park for the ninth annual Oktoberfest.

The event will take place at the park on Oct. 6 from 3-7 p.m., and will feature traditional German fare, beers from breweries across the U.S., a selection of German wines, food trucks, craft tables and live entertainment.

The popular Homebrew Alley competition will also be returning with the chance for the winning brewer to have their homemade creation served on tap throughout the fall at A·T and Piccolo.

Oktoberfest attendees will get to choose from more than 150 beers from local craft breweries and national brand favorites. If beer isn’t your drink of choice, a selection German wines will be available to sample as well. A variety of food trucks will be on hand. Live music and TVs showing college football games will be set up throughout the festival. Additionally, attendees can enjoy live music from Kidd Blue, as well as a stein hoisting competition and wiener dog race.

Tickets are on sale now, but must be purchased in advance. General admission tickets are available for $50 per person through Sept. 30, and $55 per person Oct. 1-4. Additionally, Designated Driver tickets are available free of charge.
