Chewacla State Park's 696 scenic acres offer plenty of rest, relaxation and recreation, just a short drive from the Auburn University. Facilities include a 26-acre lake, swimming area, playground, a modern campground, picnic areas with tables, grills and shelters, cabins, hiking and mountain biking trails.
Escape rooms are a fun, interactive game experience new to the Auburn-Opelika area. You and a small group of up to 8 people will be immersed in a room with a specific theme, problem and goal. You must work together as a team to solve puzzles, uncover clues and unlock locks in order to solve the problem or "escape the room". But your team must work quickly because you only have 60 minutes.

The Kreher Preserve & Nature Center (formerly Forest Ecology Preserve) is a nature center established as an outreach program of the Auburn University School of Forestry and Wildlife Sciences designed to reach out to all people of every age.
Rock 'N Roll Pinball is a pinball arcade in Opelika. They have 25 pinball machines where you can buy however long you want to play because all machines are set to free. You can always have a fun time with the family or relive the good ole' days.

Camp Marannook is located in Lafayette, AL. just a short 30-minute drive from Auburn-Opelika. While summer camp is not in session (August-March), the camp is available for rentals for a flat rate of $500 for up to three days.

Clients can schedule a private tour of the SRC or schedule a presentation at the on-site outdoor amphitheater. Each year, the center conducts around 300 public and private educational events to teach the public about raptor conservation, habitats, and ecology. Through these programs, approximately 25,000 people are educated by the center each year.
