Auburn Arena

The new Auburn Arena is a showcase for Auburn University and provides first-class, state-of-the-art facilities for athletic programs such as the men’s and women’s basketball teams and gymnastics. With an estimated seating capacity of 9,600, the Auburn Arena gives fans an intimate setting that puts them in the middle of the action. Featuring chair back seats along with bleacher seating for students, the Auburn Arena offers better sight lines moving fans closer to the court. Other features of the arena include a HD video board, AU Team Store, the Lovelace Hall of Honor and two food courts.

AUBURN SOCCER COMPLEX

Six full-sized fields with lighting, one unlit field, and a paved parking lot with bus access. A concessions building also provides office space, meeting space and restroom facilities. A planned playground will be located near the concession stand. Phase II of the project will consist of a total of five fields, four of which are lighted, and Phase III will include an indoor complex where only tournament games are played.

Auburn Softball Complex

The Complex boasts a three-story control building that is surrounded by five fields that feature Bermuda grass outfields, 300-foot fences, skinned infields and Hollywood bases. In addition, each field is equipped with a warning track, championship lighting and a public address system. All dugouts are covered and feature phones to the press box. The control building is complete with restrooms, full concessions, a conference room, rest area for umpires, scorekeeper booths, and press box capabilities.

Beard–Eaves Memorial Coliseum

The Beard-Eaves Memorial Coliseum is a 10,500-seat multi-purpose arena on the campus of Auburn University. The arena, which opened in 1969, is best known as the former home of the Auburn Tigers men's basketball and Auburn Tigers women's basketball, gymnastics, Collegiate. The teams finished their stays at the facility at the end of the 2009-10 season, with all of its tenants moving into the new Auburn Arena opening in time for the 2010-11 season. This coliseum is now an Olympic training site for the U.S.A Team Handball organization.

Chewacla State Park

In the southern most foothills of the Appalachian Trail, you find 696 beautiful acres perfect for rest and relaxation. But who wants that?! Trail runs, triathlons, and mountain biking rules this state park. Load up your bikes and get ready to tear up some of the best single track the state of Alabama has to offer. Chewacla State Park offers a wide variety of trails: 30 miles ranging from beginner-friendly with progression built in, to hand-built trails with texture and options, along with a small skills area and the state’s only wall ride: a 15-foot-high arc with a 70-degree angle known as The Great Wall of Chewacla.

Duck Samford Sports Complex

Home of the 2005 Dixie Youth World Series! Dixie Youth regulation-size baseball and softball fields, control buildings with concessions, press boxes, restrooms, playgrounds, picnic area, walking trail and lighted parking lots. The complex also has a football field with concessions, restrooms, two soccer/lacrosse fields, and a walking track.

James E. Martin Aquatic Center

It is named after James E. Martin, the 14th president of Auburn University, because he spearheaded the project. The design of the pool incorporates a state of the art gutter system which absorbs waves. The NCAA’s Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships have been held here as well as the US Open. The pool was rated the 3rd fastest pool in the nation in 2002 by Sports Illustrated.

The Opelika Sportsplex is home to a 12-court, state-of-the-art pickleball pavilion. The pavilion features LED lighting and regulation courts for tournament-style play.

Robert Trent Jones Grand National Golf Course

Grand National, a Robert Trent Jones course is built on 600-acre Lake Saugahatchee with 32 of the 54 holes along its shores. Three courses are available at Grand National, The Lake Course, Links Course, and Short Course, all of which are 18-holes. The Links and Lake course were in the top 10 of Golf Digests list of “America’s Top 50 Affordable Courses,” and all three courses are listed on Golf Digests “Places to Play” among the nation’s 40 Super Value courses. Grand National has hosted the Barbasol Championship as well as a multitude of tournaments on its various courses. Suitable for all levels of golfers, this course and its amenities offer a great day of golf for anyone. The venue includes various dining options and a pro-shop as well.

Yarbrough Tennis Center

The $4.7 million, 4,300-square-foot City of Auburn/Auburn University Yarbrough Tennis Center includes six indoor courts, 12 outdoor hard courts, and 16 outdoor clay courts, one of them a stadium court. Located on Richland Road in Auburn, facilities include locker rooms, a lobby, director’s office, a lounge, and pro shop.
