AUBURN-OPELIKA, Ala. — The Camellia Room, a new boutique studio in Auburn, is opening its doors this summer to cultivate a space for creativity and community. Home to the Camellia Collective: Lauren Duncan Art, The Auburn Mahjong Club and Curated Living Co., locals and visitors will have the opportunity to gather for mahjong, needlepoint, art and community-centered events. Together they host monthly meet-ups, private events and open studio time.

This shared space will offer creative classes, private events and open studio opportunities. The Camellia room is designed to bring people together through various arts, creative hobbies and hands-on experiences.

This June, The Camellia Room will launch a new feature, Open Studio, a non-structured studio session to create, play, or stitch. Guests can book a table and enjoy a relaxed, creative atmosphere designed for community and connection.

“I am so grateful for the opportunity to teach and encourage creativity in this new space,”
said Lauren Duncan. “Come see us to learn a new skill, play a new game or just to enjoy the
creative community.”
