Looking for something more? Sign up for the Summer Adventure Camp taking place on July 20-22. This is a 3-day program for rising fifth through eighth-graders. KPNC takes the campers to a new location in Alabama every day which gives them information on the history and wildlife information at that spot. The summer adventure camp is new this year and registration is now open.

July also kicks off the on-going Nature Walks and Family Discovery Hikes. These two programs have a theme every month and are free of charge. The themes of the walks include bird watching, learning about ferns, butterflies, and more. Check out when those walks will take place on their calendar

Finally, KPNC is excited to have a new alligator, Rona, for the summer. Swing by the Kreher Preserve and Nature Center any day to see the new friend and maybe even get a chance to pet her. Their hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Exciting things are happening at the Kreher Preserve and Nature Center, and you can stay in the know by visiting their website or their calendar events.
