DONALD E. DAVIS ARBORETUM

Donald E. Davis Arboretum

Cruise by the Donald E. Davis Arboretum! This 13.5 acre botanical garden is set right on Auburn’s campus and features a plant museum, a waterfall, and an oak tree collection. There is an abundance of wildlife and plant life to see as you bike along the trials of the Arboretum, including cottontail rabbits, yellow sunfish, and native azaleas.

AUBURN UNIVERSITY’S CAMPUS

Samford Hall

Take in all the iconic Auburn views as you bike through Auburn University’s campus! Cruise by Samford Lawn and Samford Hall, turn onto Thach Concourse and see Cater Lawn, then you can visit the heart of campus on the Haley Concourse, go through the Campus Green, and view Jordan-Hare stadium. After the stadium, swing by Plainsman Park, and make the loop back up to check out Toomer’s Corner and downtown Auburn. After you bike through campus, head across to Toomer’s corner and check out downtown Auburn.

TOWN CREEK PARK

Town Creek Park

Town Creek Park is located at 1150 S. Gay St. There is a walking trail that is 0.87 miles long. The trail wraps around a pond full of turtles, fish, and plant life, and stretches into the nearby neighborhoods. Bike around Town Creek Park and enjoy beautiful outdoor scenery and a family-friendly environment.

HISTORIC DOWNTOWN OPELIKA

Opelika Downtown

Head on over to Historic Downtown Opelika and bike past the Victorian homes in the northside historic district. After your tour of the homes, make sure to cruise by the Salem-Shotwell covered bridge. After that, bike past all the downtown shops and restaurants. Historic Downtown Opelika has so many beautiful sights for casual street riding. Check out street art murals, coffee shops, breweries, and antique shops.

KIESEL PARK

Kiesel Park

Kiesel Park is a 124-acre park, on Chadwick Lane, composed of spectacular nature & trails. Kiesel park is the largest park in the Auburn area. Cruise around the park to see the trails, pavilion and picnic area, Nunn-Winston House, and natural scenery. The bike trails wind through the native Alabama forest, around two ponds, and past local wildlife.
