1. Ariccia Cucina Italiana

Ariccia, the authentic Italian restaurant located in the Hotel at Auburn University, has brunch available daily from 6:30 a.m to 2 p.m. The menu features fresh and hearty meals that are sure to start your morning off right. Enjoy an assortment of breakfast bowls, omelettes, and waffles. This space is perfect for an elevated brunch or a business meeting.


2. Big Blue Bagel

Big Blue Bagel is a staple amongst Auburn students, locals, and visitors. They serve breakfast and lunch daily until 3 p.m. offering freshly made bagels and spreads ranging from cinnamon raisin walnut to jalapeño, as well as a variety of sandwiches on their house-made bagels.


3. Staks

4. Another Broken Egg Cafe

Another Broken Egg is a go-to breakfast spot located on Bent Creek in Auburn. Another Broken Egg Cafe's passion is to create Southern-inspired breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes, with an artisanal flair, that is “craveably” delicious and can pair with refreshing, hand-crafted cocktails or an ice-cold cold brew! Try one of their staple items, like chicken and waffles, crab cake benedict, or cinnamon roll french toast. Open daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.


5. Foodies

Foodies is a gourmet cafe and bodega located on East University Drive. Their cafe menu features items ranging from fresh baked goods to house-brewed coffee. Foodies serves made-to-order breakfast items including fresh biscuits, muffins, scones, danishes, cinnamon rolls, and more. In addition to the café is the bodega. Shoppers will find grocery items as well as decadent sweets like fudge, truffle bars, and cake by the slice. Foodies is open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.




6. The Market at Botanic

Grab breakfast and a cup of coffee at the Market at Botanic! Along with coffee and pastries, the Market has quick grab-and-go salads, cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and more. Dine at one of the bistro tables and enjoy house-made delicacies and coffee concoctions. You can pick up fresh produce, which is also used in the Grille restaurant. Botanic offers breakfast Tuesday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.


7. Bizilias Cafe

Located in downtown Auburn, Bizilia’s is a family-owned restaurant that has been serving breakfast and lunch for over 10 years. Their breakfast menu features items such as paninis, breakfast burritos, and quesadillas, as well as their signature muffininis, a cut muffin that has been pressed on the grill. They are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, but stop by Bizilia’s for breakfast any other day of the week!


8. Byron’s Smokehouse

Byron's Smokehouse is your destination for a home-cooked, Southern-style breakfast. Byron's is an Auburn landmark that visitors remember and locals love. The family feel, old-school atmosphere, and friendly faces bring everyone together for some good food and fun times! Head over to Byron’s on a Tuesday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. and try one of their breakfast plates, build-your-own biscuits, and pair with a side of grits, potatoes, or toast.


9. The Well

The Well is a one-of-a-kind tea room in downtown Opelika known for its rustic, colorful, and trendy atmosphere.  The Well offers specialty teas, lattes, collagen waters, and more. They serve delicious food from the Cup and Saucer (a fabulous local caterer), a “packed lunch” catering service, as well as freshly made toast and paninis. Stop by the Well for a cute coffee date, or contact them about hosting a private party.




10. Amsterdam Cafe

16. Zazu Gastropub

Zazu is a stunning, five-level restaurant striking in character with sandy, old bricks, wide-plank flooring, flickering gas lanterns, and repurposed wooden beams located in historic downtown Opelika.
