Auburn-Opelika Tourism is a non-profit service organization driving economic impact and improving the quality of life in our community through tourism and travel.

    John Wild has worked in the hospitality & tourism industry for 40 years, serving as President of AO Tourism since May of 2003 while previously managing the Auburn University Hotel & Dixon Conference Center. John is actively involved in the community and has served on the boards of many local and industry organizations including the Auburn Rotary Club, United Way of Lee County, and the Alabama Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus. 

    John is an avid photographer and enjoys attending many of the local events and taking sports photos for the Auburn Villager. While a true Auburn fan, he has lived in several university towns and still responds to Go Green or Go Buffs! Hiking in the mountains or on trails in the West with his camera is a favorite hobby.

    Robyn Bridges has over 20 years’ experience in the hospitality industry. An adjunct professor at Auburn University, she began her career as a hospitality professional with the Hotel at Auburn University before joining AO Tourism in 2003.

    Robyn has served in leadership roles with a variety of industry and civic boards and committees, including the Southeast Tourism Society, the Public Relations Council of Alabama, the Southern Public Relations Federation, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Lee County, and United Way. She also donates her time to the city she loves in service as a Planning Commissioner for Auburn.

    Robyn is passionate about the Auburn-Opelika community and sharing the culture of our destination with audiences around the country and beyond.

    After 20 years in the travel industry, Cindy joined Auburn-Opelika Tourism in December 2005. Her many years as a Corporate Travel Agent with Fair Winds Travel has provided her a wealth of experience in attending to the travel needs of groups and businesses. Cindy markets the Auburn-Opelika area to groups and conferences around the nation. Cindy serves as the secretary on the board for Independent Rights and Resources, the advisory board of Opelika Main Street, and is a member of The Piedmont Bird Trail Committee and does volunteer work for the March of Dimes. In her free time, she enjoys cooking. Contact Cindy for all your meeting and group tour needs.

    Cat Bobo graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Public Relations in 2015 and now serves as the Communications Manager for AOT. Cat has been a Diplomat for the Auburn Chamber of Commerce, on the committee for Auburn Young Professionals, and serves on the Board of Directors of Leadership Lee County, the Women's Business Council, and Lee County Young Leaders. Cat is a true Auburn local, having lived here her whole life. She enjoys writing and loves to edit even more. In her free time, Cat enjoys running, hiking, practicing yoga, good food, great movies and traveling.     Anthony Terling, CHSP, has over 10 years of experience in the sports industry. He graduated from Auburn University at Montgomery in 2009 with an undergraduate degree in Sports Management. He later went on to earn his master's in the same field. Before joining Auburn-Opelika Tourism, Terling served as vice president external affairs for the Alabama Sports Festival Foundation (ASF), a non-profit organization responsible for producing the Alabama State Games and also worked for the Tampa Bay Rays and their AA minor league affiliate as a gameday analytics tracker. He is also SafeSport Certified through the U.S. Center for SafeSport.

    Anthony enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, watching any and all sports in person or on TV (hockey is the best!), attending Auburn University athletic events, and fishing.

    Kate Hood graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Hospitality Event Management and a minor in Business in 2020 and now serves as the Service Coordinator for AOT. Before joining AOT, she served as Event Coordinator for The Sound Wall, Ambassador for the College of Human Sciences, and Peer Advisor for the College of Human Sciences. During her time in the Auburn-Opelika area, Kate has been involved in the music and events industry. In her free time, she enjoys trying out new vegetarian recipes, reading outside on her front porch, and attending local concerts. Contact Kate for any event service-related needs.

    Brooke has over 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry, most recently serving as the director of sales and marketing at Auburn Marriott Opelika Resort & Spa at Grand National. Brooke graduated from Auburn University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and has been heavily involved in the Auburn-Opelika community since. She has served many organizations including the Junior League of Lee County, Opelika Chamber Women’s Business Council, Opelika Rotary Club, Opelika Main Street, United Way of Lee County, and more. Brooke is also a recent past chair of the board of directors of the Opelika Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband and son while traveling, sampling new food and drinks, and baking.

    Olivia Heideman is from Melbourne, Florida, and graduated from Auburn University in May 2021 with a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing. Olivia is a member of Active Minds Auburn as well as the Zeta Tau Alpha Panhellenic Sorority and held the position of Ritual Chair on their Programs Council. Olivia has grown up a true Auburn fan having a long line of relatives that attended Auburn University. She enjoys being outside, re-watching classic movies, reading, and spending time with her friends.

    Jordan Peterson graduated from Auburn University in December 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations. While at Auburn, Jordan was involved with the Public Relations Student Society of America and spent time attending every Auburn football game possible. When she’s not at AOT, Jordan is behind the bar at Hamilton’s on Ogletree pouring drinks and talking to customers. Jordan is passionate about health and fitness and dedicates time to working out at Orangetheory Fitness in Auburn. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and reading.
