Dog Days of Summer

No need to ruff-it with your pup indoors this summer, Auburn-Opelika has plenty of fur-friend friendly places for you to enjoy! Grab your dog and take advantage of these opportunities out on the town.

If your pup is filled to the brink with energy and dying to break free of the day to day scene of the backyard, take them to run and play at one of the local dog-friendly parks!

Kiesel Park is 124 acres located in Auburn, with a fenced in off-leash portion for dogs as well as a pond for swimming.

Another great option is Town Creek Park, with 95 acres and a fenced in dog park as well.

A new addition to our dog parks is Floral Park in Opelika. This park has a fenced in portion and benches, adding yet another place for you and your furry friend to hang out.

Chewacla State Park has 696 acres of land including a 26-acre lake. There are more than enough trails to wear your pupper out in no time.

After an afternoon at one of our amazing local parks, go grab a bite to eat at one of the many local dog-friendly dining options Auburn-Opelika has to make for a pawsitively great day!
