Over the past four years, the Opelika Songwriters Festival has attracted die-hard live music fans from around the Southeast to hear original songwriters spanning many genres of music perform their songs. Restaurants, bars, a distillery, and an Inn in historic downtown Opelika become music listening rooms for two nights and a third day for over 40 singer-songwriters that come from all over the country to perform over 80 shows throughout the weekend of October 5-8.  

Kicking off the 4th Annual Opelika Songwriters Festival is a cocktail dinner on Thursday at John Emerald Distillery. Enjoy a four course gourmet dinner by Chef Chris Wilton and a cocktail pairing by John Emerald Distillery for each course. Guests will be seated in the distillery where they can see the stills in action and a guest performance by one of the artists at the event. 

The also offer a Songwriters Workshop, where you will experience a Saturday morning workshop led by two of the festival songwriters and the chance to engage in a minimum, one hour songwriting workshop at The Sound Wall (605 Ave B.). 

OFFICIAL FESTIVAL HOTEL:

The official festival hotel is the Opelika Auburn Marriott Resort and Spa at Grand National featuring three 18-hole Robert Trent Jones Golf golf courses, with scenic views, driving ranges, putting greens, and golf lessons. Additionally, there are elaborate resort-style pools with bar service, as well as eight tennis courts and an award-winning spa. 

VENUES AND SCHEDULES:

Each venue hosts a distinctive set list of artists at the festival. The venues at the Opelika Songwriters Festival include: The Main Stage, John Emrald Distillery, Resting Pulse Brewery, Irish Bred Pub, Heritage House, Jailhouse at Rock N Roll Pinball, Market Street Paint Shop, and The Sound Wall. Each venue has a set list of artists from the festival where you can enjoy live music from Friday to Sunday, based on the location, as well as VIP private performances and more. 

TICKET INFORMATION:

For ticket information, see all information about purchasing tickets here. if you are wanting a single day pass they have an option of $55 for Friday, $95 for Saturday, or $30 for Sunday. As well as an all weekend pass for $130.

A VIP all weekend pass is available for $310 that includes VIP seating at main stage, complimentary food and beverages including beer, wine, and cocktails during the headliner performances on Saturday with the VIP bathroom and the OSF commemorative gift. As well as, access to the Sunday brunch at Resting Pulse Brewery, brunch catered by Chef Chris Wilton and an in-the-round show with festival arts.
