One of the most in-demand saxophonists of his generation, educator, composer, and multi-instrumentalist Khari Allen Lee has performed with such luminaries as Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Branford Marsalis, Terence Blanchard, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Dr. John, Raphael Saadiq, the Treme Brass Band, and more.

Lee tours with Delfeayo Marsalis’s Uptown Jazz Orchestra and has released three albums with his own ensemble, the New Creative Collective. A contributor to both stage and screen soundtracks, he was featured in the 2018 Oscar-winning film "Green Book." Following his extended tenure at the prestigious New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts, Lee served as a faculty member at the University of New Orleans as well as Loyola University, and is currently serving as the Daniel F. Breeden Eminent Scholar in Residence for the Arts and Humanities at Auburn University.

The New Creative Collective features Grammy Award-winning bassist, David Pulphus; guitarist, Davy Mooney, a New Orleans native and professor at University of North Texas; Gerald Watkins Jr., New Orleans-based drummer and music educator; and Marcus Akinlana, percussionist and visual artist who will be creating a work throughout the performance.
