Time: 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM

Join Kim Richardson, certified yoga therapist and sound practitioner, for a chakra-centered yoga experience that explores the intersection of art and wellness. Participants will first be encouraged to briefly engage with the museum's current exhibits followed by a gentle yoga practice that highlights chakra (energy centers) alignment. Each yoga session will highlight at least one of the seven chakras (root, sacral, solar plexus, heart, throat, third-eye, and crown) with a special focus on grounding/finding our foundation (root chakra), finding our words and voice (throat chakra), and opening our hearts (heart chakra). Sessions may also integrate activities like journaling around a thematic question related to an exhibit (optional) and sound healing. All yoga sessions are designed to be inclusive and accessible for individuals of all abilities, including the option to practice in a chair if preferred.
