Auburn Outdoors is Auburn University's adventure outfitters located in the campus recreation center. They offer rentals on all kinds of outdoor equipment, such as tents, sleeping bags, kayaks, bikes, and backpacks. Day trips, weekenders, and extended length trips are offered by Auburn Outdoors, and range from climbing, bikepacking, camping, and more. Auburn Outdoors is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Bike Shop
The Bike Shop has been proudly serving the Auburn-Opelika community for over 45 years. Their in-house, expert bike mechanics assemble bikes that their customers order online. The Bike Shop is located on East Glenn Avenue open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Mountain High Outfitters
Mountain High Outfitters is an outdoor retail store located on South College Street. They sell men’s and women’s apparel, accessories, and shoes. Mountain High sells products for activities like backpacking, camping, climbing, hiking, biking, yoga, skiing, trail running, paddle boarding, fly fishing, as well as trips to the lake and beach, or just a casual day around town.
