The Laurel Hotel & Spa and 1856 – Culinary Residence are thrilled to announce the next guest Chef for the March 22-24, 2024 Epicurean Experience weekend.
 
The Laurel Hotel & Spa and 1856 - Culinary Residence offer multiple day elevated experiences unlike anything else in the world. The Epicurean Experience is the ultimate package of specially curated moments to immerse yourself in the world of food, wine and
mixology.
 
Join world renowned chefs for a cooking demonstration and lunch in the Tony & Libba Rane Culinary Science Center, wine education and tastings from visiting wine makers and guest sommeliers, and our own Master Sommelier, Thomas Price.
 
Your first night will feature an intimate reception with their visiting chefs in their spectacular rooftop gardens. The second night features a seven to nine course tasting menu with wine pairings at 1856 - Culinary Residence. The itinerary is filled with education, enjoyment and of course, exceptional food.
 
No time spent at The Laurel Hotel & Spa would be complete without relaxation. The schedule allows time for booking spa treatments, enjoying the rooftop poolside cabanas, or taking in the sights and shopping of Downtown Auburn. Enjoy a beautiful farewell brunch in The Library before returning home filled with great memories.

Chef Jeremiah Langhorne
    • Chef and Co-Owner of The Dabney, Washington, D.C.

    • Winner of the 2018 James Beard Foundation Award for Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic in 2018.

    • Born and raised in Charlottesville, VA, Jeremiah Langhorne stands as a beacon of culinary distinction. Over the years he has developed an appreciation for classical Southern Cuisine infused with the rich culture of the Eastern Shore, all of which he has infused into his own restaurant: The Dabney—which has earned a Michelin star every year since 2016.
