The Collegiate Hotel

There is a new boutique hotel currently under construction on Gay Street in Auburn, Alabama. You may have lived there when you were a student or you may have studied there with a friend in her room. The old Wittel Dormitory, an off-campus female dorm, is being transformed into a 40-room boutique hotel! They’re located in downtown Auburn just one block from Samford Hall.

Their website describes The Collegiate as a place where Southern comfort meets Southern style to celebrate history, hospitality, and cherished traditions. From suites featuring two king beds to rooms with private patios and balconies, their 40 guestrooms offer unique and eclectic furnishings, punctuated by creatively curated original art. Nicknamed, the CoHo, friends, and family can stay in one of the hotel’s luxurious, eclectic rooms or order a craft cocktail from the Wittel Bar and relax on the wrap-around porch, soaking in vibrant views of college life.
