Memorial Day may have come and gone, but Bluegrass on the Plains is still pickin’ through Sunday, June 4th.

Bluegrass on the Plains is a festival hosted by Mathan and Jill Holt at the University Station RV Resort located in Auburn, AL. The festival, which began in 2012, promotes 20 bands each year with names like Rhonda Vincent, Ralph Stanley, Ricky Skaggs, Doyle Lawson, Russell Moore & IIIrd Tyme Out, Jerry Douglas' Earls of Leicester and many more. Described as ‘a week of pure bluegrass heaven’, the festival has continued to grow each year with new talent and a loyal following.

Ticket prices vary each day depending on the line-up. The most expensive days are $40 and the least expensive day is Sunday’s FREE gospel concert.

Concert goers can stay at the RV resort for just $30 a night OR find accommodations at area hotels http://www.aotourism.com/Accommodations/
