Welcome to "Bluegrass On The Plains", winner of the 2013 IBMA Momentum Award for New Festival of the Year @ University Station RV Resort in Auburn, Alabama.Join University Station RV Resort for the “Bluegrass on the Plains” May 29-June 4. The festival will begin on Monday, May 29 from 2-10 p.m. The festival will continue Tuesday, May 30-Saturday, June 3 from 11:45 a.m.–11:30 p.m. Music on Sunday, June 4 will run from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. 

Bluegrass fans will be gathering together on the Auburn Plains to hear music, eat from the many food vendors, and celebrate the Memorial Day week. Bluegrass on the Plains music festival will be held at the University Station RV Park and Mathan Holt, founder of the event, expects people from all over the country to attend. Holt is expecting to see around 6,000 people this year and is seeing incredible growth with people from all over the United States. He hopes to install a Bluegrass influence in the Lee County area. The music event will also include a Memorial Day BBQ, a potluck, arts & crafts, vendors and workshops for festival goers to participate in.

There will be eight free workshops and an arts and crafts show on Friday and Saturday. Jamming sessions are welcome. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs. Seating is first come, first served. The early bird special for RV accommodations is one RV site for seven nights and two five-day tickets is $400 from Sunday-Sunday. Tickets are $105 for a seven-day pass if purchased before Tuesday, May 25. U.S. veterans will receive a $25 discount.
