Auburn's very own South Texas-style smokehouse. Bow & Arrow can best be described as a Texas smokehouse meets Alabama potluck. They encourage family-style ordering and passing food at the table. Texas-style meats are cut by hand from the pit, weighed on scales, and served with fresh-made flour tortillas or white bread. The meats are piled onto butcher paper-lined trays as you make your way through the potluck. Pick up some dessert and drinks from the cashier before you grab plates and silverware at the complimentary condiment bar.
Bow and Arrow owner and executive chef is David Bancroft. He also owns Acre in Auburn, Alabama. He and his wife opened up Bow and Arrow in 2018. The restaurant has become popular among the Auburn family and been highly recognized by many news outlets. The restaurant is Bancroft’s interpretation of a South Texas smokehouse juxtaposed with the communal and casual dining approach of an Alabama potluck.
Bow & Arrow has been named one of the "Best New Southern Barbecue Joints" by Garden & Gun magazine. Click here to read more.
