2. Big Blue Bagel

Big Blue Bagel is a staple amongst Auburn students, locals, and visitors. They serve breakfast and lunch daily until 3 p.m. offering freshly made bagels and spreads ranging from cinnamon raisin walnut to jalapeño, as well as a variety of sandwiches on their house-made bagels.

3. Staks

Staks is Auburn’s newest addition to the downtown dining scene. Staks offers creative breakfast and brunch options for everyone! Serving a full menu all day means you never miss out on signature pancake Staks, sweet French toast, or some good old-fashioned Southern biscuits and gravy.  Staks is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

4. Another Broken Egg Cafe

Another Broken Egg is a go-to breakfast spot located on Bent Creek in Auburn. Another Broken Egg Cafe's passion is to create Southern-inspired breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes, with an artisanal flair, that is “craveably” delicious and can pair with refreshing, hand-crafted cocktails or an ice-cold cold brew! 5. Foodies

Foodies is a gourmet cafe and bodega located on East University Drive. Their cafe menu features items ranging from fresh baked goods to house-brewed coffee. Foodies serves made-to-order breakfast items including fresh biscuits, muffins, scones, danishes, cinnamon rolls, and more. In addition to the café is the bodega. Shoppers will find grocery items as well as decadent sweets like fudge, truffle bars, and cake by the slice. Foodies is open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

6. The Market at Botanic

Grab breakfast and a cup of coffee at the Market at Botanic! Along with coffee and pastries, the Market has quick grab-and-go salads, cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and more. Dine at one of the bistro tables and enjoy house-made delicacies and coffee concoctions. You can pick up fresh produce, which is also used in the Grille restaurant. Botanic offers breakfast Tuesday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

7. Byron’s Smokehouse

Byron's Smokehouse is your destination for a home-cooked, Southern-style breakfast. Byron's is an Auburn landmark that visitors remember and locals love. 8. The Well

The Well is a one-of-a-kind tea room in downtown Opelika known for its rustic, colorful, and trendy atmosphere.  The Well offers specialty teas, lattes, collagen waters, and more. 15. Zazu Gastropub

Zazu is a stunning, five-level restaurant striking in character with sandy, old bricks, wide-plank flooring, flickering gas lanterns, and repurposed wooden beams located in historic downtown Opelika.
