Auburn-Opelika Tourism Celebrates Travis Harrison’s Leadership Achievement
AUBURN, Ala. — Auburn-Opelika Tourism is proud to announce that Event & Marketing Specialist Travis Harrison has graduated from two distinguished leadership development programs: the Alabama Leadership Initiative (ALI) Class VIII and Leadership Lee County.
Harrison joined Auburn-Opelika Tourism in 2024 and supports the organization’s marketing initiatives, event promotion efforts, and visitor engagement programs that help position Auburn and Opelika as leading destinations for meetings, sporting events, and leisure travel.
The Alabama Leadership Initiative, a program of Leadership Alabama, is a statewide leadership development program that brings together emerging leaders from across Alabama to strengthen leadership skills, build relationships, and explore the challenges and opportunities shaping communities throughout the state. Leadership Lee County similarly equips local professionals with a deeper understanding of the people, industries, and organizations that drive Lee County forward.
Through sessions held across Alabama and within Lee County, participants gain valuable insight into civic leadership, economic development, education, healthcare, and community collaboration.
