EVENTS AT THE JAY & SUSIE GOGUE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER

Woltosz Theatre
The Woltosz Theatre is the signature venue within the Jay & Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center, offering seating for approximately 1,200 guests in a space designed for both beauty and functionality. Equipped with advanced lighting, sound, and staging capabilities, the theatre is ideal for large-scale events such as ceremonies, lectures, performances, and conferences. Backstage, the space includes dressing rooms, a catering kitchen, and production support areas to accommodate professional-level execution. Its polished design and full-service amenities make it a standout setting for high-impact events in Auburn.
Ham Ampitheatre & Lawn
The Bill & Carol Ham Amphitheatre is currently being revitalized as part of the Gogue Center’s next phase of development, with a reopening planned for spring 2026. The upgrades include expanded tiered seating, an enhanced stage, new lighting and sound infrastructure, and redesigned landscaping with over 1,200 new plantings. Once complete, the amphitheatre will accommodate up to 4,500 guests and serve as a flexible outdoor venue for concerts, festivals, ceremonies, and large-scale community events. A new Amphitheatre Series will debut during the 2025–26 season, bringing elevated outdoor programming to this refreshed space.
The Studio Theatre
The Studio Theatre is a new addition to the Gogue Center, designed as a flexible, black box-style venue ideal for smaller-scale performances and private events. With seating for up to 250 guests, the space will support a wide range of programming including lectures, community events, recitals, workshops, receptions, and artist engagement activities. Its adaptable layout and professional-grade lighting and sound systems create an intimate yet fully equipped setting for creative expression and connection. Lobby/ Pre Function Areas
The two-level lobby at the Jay & Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center offers a bright, modern setting ideal for receptions, registration areas, and pre or post event gatherings. Framed by floor to ceiling windows and accented with architectural details that reflect the Center’s elegant design, the space provides a seamless flow between indoor event venues and the surrounding outdoor areas. With direct access to the Woltosz Theatre, box office, restrooms, and concessions, the lobby can accommodate a range of event formats: from cocktail receptions and donor events to speaker check-ins and exhibit displays.

Event requests should be submitted at least 15 business days in advance for standard setups, and 30 business days ahead for events requiring special equipment, staffing, or security. A signed agreement is required no later than two business days before the event. Early coordination is strongly encouraged to ensure availability and proper planning.
