Auburn Floral Trails

North Trail (3.5 miles)

The North Trail offers a charming 3.5-mile drive through established Auburn neighborhoods filled with vibrant spring blooms. Winding through quiet residential streets near North College, this route showcases thoughtfully landscaped homes and colorful displays. It’s a perfect introduction to the beauty of the Auburn Floral Trail.

South Trail (10.5 miles)

The South Trail spans 10.5 scenic miles, highlighting some of Auburn’s most iconic areas alongside breathtaking seasonal blooms. Passing near Auburn University, the Jule Collins Smith Museum, Town Creek Park, and Margie Piper Bailey Park, this route blends natural beauty, cultural landmarks, and neighborhood charm into one unforgettable spring experience.

Caroline Dean Wild Flower Trail (figure-8 trail)

Step into a peaceful native plant sanctuary at the Caroline Dean Wilderflower Garden, a beautiful figure-8 walking trail in Opelika’s Municipal Park. Created to honor Caroline Dean, an advocate for native flora who received a National Wetlands Award, the garden showcases dozens of plants native to the Alabama region.
